How to practise

    About 130–150 words

    At a natural pace, one minute is roughly 130 to 150 words — about three short paragraphs: a point, an example, a close.

    Skip the long introduction

    You do not have time for “Good morning everyone, today I am going to talk about…”. Start with your answer.

    Stop on time

    Finishing at 0:58 with a clear close sounds far more confident than being cut off mid-sentence.
